What TapStory is
TapStory is an independent product built on third-party AI models for text, illustrations and narration. The model providers supply integrations; they do not operate or endorse TapStory.
TapStory makes illustrated, narrated picture books from a child's own story idea. The child says or types an idea; TapStory writes, illustrates and narrates it; the finished book plays in a web browser and can be shared by link. Parents can also have the child and family members appear in the story as characters, using photos and short voice recordings they choose to provide.
TapStory is made for children aged about 3 to 8 and the adults who read with them. Adults hold the account and decide what is created and shared. There is no advertising or third-party tracking, and generated stories go through moderation designed for young children.
